History

allmineral Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in Duisburg in March 1988. In April 2018 allmineral celebrated its 30th anniversary.

The new company did not start from scratch, allmineral acquired the entire know-how as well as the staff from the Oberhausener »MAN Gutehoffnungshütte AG«, which was a huge advantage in that the highly-qualified and hard-working team of engineers was already well established in the coal and ore market. allmineral was quick to use this experience in new markets, adding the gravel, sand and recycling markets to its arena of expertise. The determined actions and in particular the client-focused corporate strategy soon secured allmineral a significant market position as an independent, medium-sized company.

Key products which ensured the company’s rapid progress were its alljig® gravel jigging machines for separating contaminants from gravel and sand. This technology allowed many gravel and sand producers to solve their quality issues with economic feasibility. In the early nineties the company introduced its all-new allflux® fluidized bed separator. This machine made it possible for the first time to classify large volumes of sand/water slurries and concurrently remove organic impurities in a single pass. The high technical functionality and distinct economic benefits of these machines resulted in a quick market breakthrough for the Duisburg company.

Alongside these successes in the gravel and sand industry, the company continued its activities in the traditional processing technology arena, especially with its jigs for coal and ores. The world’s largest plants use alljig® jigging machines, such as a 2000 t/h coal-washery in the USA and a 4.000 t/h iron ore beneficiation-plant in South Africa. With over 500 machines sold to date, allmineral has definitively developed into the world’s market leader in jigging technology.

Yet the company focuses not only on wet processing – it also offers expertise in dry processing technology. The allair® air jig for the beneficiation of coal and lignite in a dry environment without the use of water represents an absolute novelty with respect to specific capacities and performance. Since the industrial introduction of this innovative technology in 2002, allmineral has delivered over 60 machines to coal mines respectively power stations as well as DRI- plants in the USA, India, Columbia, the Ukraine and the largest plant of its kind; a 600 t/h coal processing plant in Spain.

The product range has been supplemented by a wet high-intensity magnetic separator. The allgauss® magnetic separator is used to sort fine-grained, paramagnetic ores like hematite iron ores with capacities of up to 1400 tph per unit, the biggest WHIMS in the market. Another application of the allgauss® is the separation of iron contaminants from industrial sands.

Owing to the huge demand, international activities with subsidiaries in the USA, Poland, South Africa, India and Australia have been expanded considerably. In doing so, allmineral supplies its clients not only with individual components, but also with full-service solutions from concept development through to planning, construction and commissioning of entire plants, with machines from its own product range as the core equipment of the facilities.
